Backgammon free comes with a variety of themed boards, backgrounds, and pieces. Like most of the other backgammon games.
The backgammon game dates back to about 5000 years and continues to entertain players today. Since then, it has undergone many changes and has multiple different versions. It can be bought and added to the collection of fun family board games, but it is now an easily downloadable free app. For those who've never played the pastime, it doesn't take long to understand the game since it has basic rules.
Okay, playtime. For those who like checkers, you can consider this game similar, but with a twist. For starters, the game pieces may be called checkers, tokens or chips, but for simplicity's sake, we'll say checkers. Each person has 15 checkers and will be moving throughout the game in a u-shape to get to the opposite end of the board (like checkers).
How to play backgammon game
This is where the twist comes in with the dice. The number rolled is the amount the player may freely move (within the rules of course). You can place your checker in the opponent's spot as long as it isn't already accommodating two or more of their checkers. You can project one or two checkers when it's your turn and roll two dice to help determine your checker's faith.
From there it's a battle to the finish. Once your close to your opponent's side you can begin the race to remove your pieces. While the virtual version mimics the actual board game, you'll find that games can be quick, but without the cleanup which can be a plus for busy families.
